Dental Implant supported Restorations

Question

hi am a 27 year old male and have just had all my teeth extracted how much is a full mouth of implants thanks

Answer

I understand that you recently had your natural teeth removed and therefore are considering having Dental Implants to restore your Smile. Naturally, I am sorry about the problems you are facing with denture and would like take this opportunity to reassure you that over the past few years so many different implant supported restorations have come available to replace missing natural teeth.  Dental Implant Supported Crowns can offer you natural looking restorations which will not only boost your confidence but allow you to function better.

It will be my pleasure to give you a general idea of different treatment options, however by far the best way of assessing your dental needs will be for the Implantologist to see you in person and discuss different options with you. I feel you will find your dental assessment very informative and hopefully beneficial. The initial consultation normally lasts between 45 minutes-60 minutes. At this stage the bone level is assessed and the appropriate implant treatment is proposed.

In the mean time, please find listed a few treatment options available to restore a whole mouth restoration as a guide which may vary depending on your dental requirements:

Option I-Dentures Fitted onto Conventional Implants (long term option)

Strategic placement of 4 Conventional Implants with an over bar for the denture to sit on (to start of with), which will keep the denture firmly in place. This type of treatment also   gives you the option to upgrade the implant supported denture option to a fixed teeth/bridgework option at a later stage, should you wish. You can do away with dentures and have fixed teeth when you are ready by having additional 2-4 conventional dental implants placed and then restoring them with fixed bridgework. The upgraded treatment will help you to get rid of dentures.

4-6Conventional Implants with a bar & Over-denture                 £10,000-£12,000

Option II- Dentures Stabilised with Mini Implants

Dentures stabilised with 4-6 mini implants

(Mini implants are small little implants, which are placed in all the areas where teeth are missing, housings will be fitted on your dentures in the same area this will allow the dentures to clip on to implants giving you a stable, firm and comfortable fee)                         £6,000.00

Option III*-Fixed Teeth/Bridgework on Implants

Fixed 8-10 Conventional dental implants with fixed 10-12 unit- bridgework                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           £15,000.00+

This option will allow you to do away with dentures completely and your new teeth (crowns/bridgework) on implants will look and feel like natural teeth.

Implants are placed and restored in stages (depending on the treatment option) which may take 6-8 months therefore payments can also be made in stages or alternatively, at The Studio we are able to offer an 0% interest payment plan facility, which can give you the flexibility to take care of your dental fees over 6, 10, 18, 24 or 36 months. Or alternatively should you wish to pay all fees on commencement of treatment we can offer you a 10% discount on fees.

We have a free consultation special offer for patients at the moment until the end of April 2010 (extended), please let me know if this is of interest to you. Should you have any further queries or wish to speak to me or book your Complimentary Consultation, please feel free to call me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
