Hairy tongue
A hairy tongue can also be caused by smoking or drinking alcohol, or as a result of antibiotics use.
Tongue irritations
The tongue can be irritated due to hormonal changes (especially in postmenopausal women), and also because of smoking or drinking alcohol.
